From Drogheda itself, Sr. Presentina (baptised Mary Therese) entered MMM on April 3^rd 1959.

One could call her "an arts and crafts person", as her gifts were much appreciated in the Drogheda and Naples sewing rooms and her culinary expertise was put to test in Bettystown in the London Apostolic Delegation.

Between 1966 – 74 she was assigned to the Clinica Meditteranea in Naples, Italy, and then after a spell in London, she ministered for three years in Turkana, Kenya, in Mandeleo work and community development.

In 1981 she did eight months relief work in Nigeria, returning to Ireland then to work in the Apostolic Nunciature, in Clonsilla, in Beechgrove Guest Department and then as Public Relations Officer in the IMTH.

Due to her illness (brain tumour), her last years, especially when in Aras Mhuire, were difficult, appearing to be stress-filled. But when her call finally came, her death was very peaceful and calm and several people remarked at how beautiful and serene she looked.

She died and is buried in Drogheda.
