Medical Missionaries of Mary We are an international congregation of women religious, founded by Mother Mary Martin in Nigeria, in 1937. Desiring to share Christ's healing love, we bring health services to people of different cultures where human needs are great. MMMs are serving in 14 countries around the world, including our newest mission in the Republic of South Sudan. Sisters come from 20 countries and are trained in a variety of health-related professions. With Mary as our model, our special concern is the care of mother and child and the fostering of family life. If you click 'Contact Us' you will find a complete list of our addresses worldwide. If you click 'Vocation' you will find a set of 52 posters that take you on a world tour of our diverse healing ministries. Best wishes to all our friends and readers. We hope that you have enjoyed the various features on our MMM Website over the years. We have told you the history of the Medical Missionaries of Mary, described our spirituality and work, and invited you to join with us on mission. As we mentioned previously, we have started introducing some new features on our website. The next change you will see will be in the colours on the home page, which we hope you will find attractive. You will still find the basic topics, so don't think you are on the wrong site! Our goal remains the same: to bring the healing love of God where human need is greatest. |
